when i took off my oem exhaust off my 04 wagon, i didn't see a exhaust gasket in between the mid pipe and the first section of the cat back. when i tried to use the gasket that was given to me (which was used on a 02-03 model) it did not fit onto my stock mid pipe.

so does the 04 need a gasket there? i figured it didn't since i didn't find one when i took off the stock catback.

i didn't buy this from you, but since you sell a lot of exhaust, i figured you could help.

For a catback system, there should only be one gasket that you really need. The one gasket goes between the muffler flange and the end of the long pipe flange. The side that connects the cat with the midpipe should contain a donut that goes around the pipe of the cat.
