On my WRB WRX rear bumper I have a small area that has some hazy looking scratches (like from dust being scuffed into paint I guess) that I'd like to polish out.

Does anybody have a good product they can suggest?

Meguires Scratch fix is pretty good.

A mild/non-abrasive polish should work for superficial "marks/light scuffs" (don't use a rubbing or polishing compound). Are looking for a product to do the entire car with or for just that area? If you want a quick fix with a product that's readily available, try Scratch X from Meguiars (I believe that's what wrx10404 was speaking of). You can pick it up in several auto part stores and works great for small areas (scratches, marks, scuffs, etc).

3m rubbing compound.
there are different grades of compound for different levels of scratch removal. 3m makes commercial stuff you can find at most auto stores, and professional stuff that you can use on more difficult scratches (*note don't use anything other than the fine grit unless you have professional supervision :))

stick with fanker on this one.........3M is the best...we've been using it on the showplane.........and that paint is sick!!!! it removes all the little scratches on subarus that drive ouy nutz!!!!!
IMHO it's the most professional grade stuff you can get.....and it works great!!!!!

I'd try a polish before going for anything heavier. Meguiar's Clearcoat Polish has worked wonders for me... even with things most people use Meguiar's ScratchX for.

be VERY VERY careful with using rubbing compound. you don't want to "melt" through the paint. ;)
