Unhappy Knocking sound/feel @ Low RPM

Just bought this 2.5 RS a month ago, car was immaculate. Had 52k on it when I got it, it has 54 now.

The Beef:
Very recently, the car has developed a very intermittent knocking, which is audible and can be felt in the clutch/brake/accelerator pedals. It goes away above idle. It doesn’t go away when the motor warms up. Sometimes it never shows up. I don’t know if it is the dreaded piston slap or what. Thoughts, theories, suggestions? BTW, I have an appointment scheduled @ the dealer for Wednesday.

Thanks Guys

Have you noticed if it goes away when the clutch pedal is depressed? If it does, there is a possiblity it may be the throw out bearing.

while the noise is happen, put the tip of a long screw driver or extension on the timing belt cover close(but at a safe distance) from the a/c idler pulley.put your ear on handle of screw driver and listen for the noise in this area.sounds like you have a cam belt tensioner leaking and the tensioner is hitting the engine block case.noise sounds nasty, but it is a easy fix.

Update: Took the car by the dealership. Turns out, it was something extremely mundane. The Alarm horn was loose on its mount and was knocking on the master cylinder and a linkage of some sort causing the sound and the knocking sensation in the pedals.
