Nice writeup! I gave the Forester mods forum a cursory glance, but didn't see anything about DRL disabling. Have you done this? It was easy in my Jetta. I am hoping to do it with my XT.

I haven't diasbled the DRL's. I like having them myself I don't plan on disableing mine. There are other sections on the Legacy et al that have how to's on doing that. Maybe they will help.
