I actually have to take them out huh? Do I need new rings when I replace the pistons? What else should one change while taking the pistons out? What would you clean the with, Dawn and a SoS pad? ;)

Thnx man.

Sorry mate been buried since the 25hrs.

To do it properly you'll want to remove the pistons, I would use a little ATF on the piston tops and let it sit for a few hours then remove with a green scotchbrite just be careful not to go to crazy on them.

Something to note, if your removing the pistons why put them back in?? :) based on them being the weaklink of the bottom end you might be better served putting in some nice blinging forged pieces.

Can you PM me a cost for Cobb pistons and whatever rings I need. Also should I replace bearings? Maybe do me a price quote if you get time.

I know you guys are super busy with your schedule as of late so no rush but when you get a chance I would like to know what the JE Pistons and rings are going for.

TIA.
