Looks like I may get some jdm folding mirrors for my car. They're dirt cheap and complete :)

So how much for you guys to install this for my lazy ass? lol :D

Something wrong with your mirrors? I don't understand the whole JDM mirror thingy... Patrick has these as well, but I've yet to put them in and he's been missing a mirror for like 2 years now. He has the instructions or something, I'll have to see what it takes to do it.

Well for me having somewhat a small garage and 2 cars in there (1 mine, 1 my mom's) Sometimes its a close call to almost hitting my mirrors and I'd feel safer tucking them in. Plus they're fairly inexpensive. From what I've seen its an alright install just running a few wires and soldering really(I'm just . I'll have to swap the guts from the jdm mirror to mine so I don't have to repaint the mirrors. Lemme know how much for install when you can please :)

Sorry to inform you, but we're pretty sure you cant take the mirror assemblies apart and switch the housings to avoid painting them. We could be wrong. The install and wiring would probably take 2-3 hours.

What's burning a hole in your pocket now?

Just that I've almost hit my mirrors a few times in the garage since I have a pretty confined garage with another car in there and I've always wanted to do this mod anyways. According to a few people and the seller on RS25 the guts can be transplanted to my current mirrors. I'll have to look into doing it when I get them. Also I'm not sure if these are the same instructions patrick has but this is what I got. Seems like maybe an hour of running a few wires and crimping, but I dunno...you guys are the experts :D

I bought the mirrors. Just gotta do a little fabing from what I see. Lemme know when you get in touch with noah how much to do this? I may just repaint the stupid jdm covers anyways and keep my others as spares just in case for whatever so I don't have to mod the usdm mirrors.

Actually this thread was for nothing lol. I found out from the seller that the set he's selling me is apparently plug and play and I don't need to make a harness or anything. It's basically mounting the mirrors and running 2 wires from each side to the switch in the console, so it's actually hella easy lol :p
