My goal:
To get a total of around 240-260whp. I'm not looking for big #s, fast 1/4 times just some quicker acceleration, power, and to have more fun. I won't be upping the boost beyond stock.

Current parts:
STi UpPipe
3" Stromung Catback
KN Air panel in stock box

Wishlist for upgrade:
VF39 w/sti fuel pump (I can get a package deal from a local member for cheap)
06 wrx or sti pink injectors
helix catted dp
02-03 WRX Accessport V1
STi TMIC

Also since I'd have you guys install the parts and then go to a local tuner and would have to drive there could I get a boost controller and turn the boost off completely and drive as if it were N/A so I could get it safely tuned and not ruin anything? Thanks for any info guys :)

Come-on RickStar, we know what parts you have already and what you want to do. It's not your job to worry about what boost you would be running, that's up to the tuner. Besides you woulndn't run stock boost on that setup, really any setup.

Buy the VF39 and pump or a Walbro if you like, then get some STi Pink injectors, TMIC and an AP1. The AP will have maps on it that are close enough to drive to your tuner. No need to worry so much.

I figured the other one was just going to end up a paper weight. I'm surprised it lasted that long. I could at least sell my current TD04 since that is still good when the time comes. The deal on that VF39/STi Pump is a hell of a deal and I'm trying to buy it asap :D

Thanks for the input guys. I believe I may go the VF39 route. Still researching a few things and then to start saving/buying misc things here and there :)

What's there to research, you're not doing anything special or hasn't been done thousands of times. Get your parts before you miss out on another deal like the last one ;)

Lol yea seriously. I'm waiting on a reply from that "guy" from whom I'd like to buy the turbo/pump from.
Do you know how much it would cost to install:
Turbo/Injectors/Pump? I figure I could probably do the DP since it would just take some time and its just a few bolts really. And how much down time would there be? I'd like to try and set something up where I can do the parts install in the morning then tuning in the afternoon.

lol yea persistent is sometimes an understatement :p
I can't wait until this next upgrade. I've done all I wanted so far suspension wise since I don't track the car, so a few power mods are in order :)
I'm thinking about this STI TMIC for about $250 shipped fairly new I found since I can at least use that right away.

Get that as well, that's a decent price for a fairly new one.
