Hey guys how yall doing? its been a while since I visited, but I was hoping you could help me out with a few questions regarding a tranny swap on my Impreza L. I might be interested in doing the swap at ur shop, but I have to figure things out first.

I just purchased a 2005 Impreza NA tranny for replacement of my 96' L tranny. Long story short, after I blew 3rd gear on my 95 L' tranny in November, I went ahead and destroyed the synchros on my 96 L' tranny last month.

THis tranny is a push type, but so far it is undetermined if it is cable clutch or hydraulic and I dont know if my clutch/flywheel combo will work on it.

I believe I have this flywheel:

Any suggestions/resources for me? I will look up the tranny codes and do my best to provide the ACT clutch model number to post them here in this thread.

Ok, I got the P/N's for you:

Tranny: TY754VY6AA-TK
ACT Clutch: SB2-HD00
Exedy Flywheel: FF02

Hey Jon,

If you have a push-type tranny and push-type clutch/flywheel then it will all work. If your car currently has a cable in it, you could either leave it or take the opportunity and swap it over to hydraulic at the same time as the tranny swap.
