Oh yeah,

We had to add something new to the family. A 1992 SVX (mechanic special aka pretty cheap) was running in less than 3 hours. The other, a 2003 Baja Sport. The SVX has been dubbed a shop beater and the Baja is a great hauler. We threw on some new shoes on the baja today. Enjoy the uglyness!

Hey now, you can't lump an SVX into the same ugliness category as a Baja! :p It's a beautiful classic automobile designed by the Italian master Georgetto Giugiaro, and its faults and failures are merely quirks. ;)

Oh c'mon, the last car that guy designed was a Daewoo. "classic automobile" I say Ba ja to that;)

Umm...

The SVX has innovations that are STILL unmatched by Subaru anywhere in their product line.

1. Speed sensitive wipers - bet you haven't found the secret switch, either...lol The secret switch is for the "snow" setting on the wipers...
2. Climate control second to none - works quietly, and without doing the Billy Joel thing (think song, "I Go to Extremes")
3. Smooth shifting - there has never been, nor in the forseeable future will there ever be, a smoother shifting 4EAT from Subaru. Too bad they made them out of glass...

I kinda liked the Baja. That and the Forester are the only 2 Subarus I would thrash around offroad, rally style. My father had one.....before trading in for a Forester after 7 months. :p. Now we have 3 Foresters. :D
