Hi There

I got my Clutch replaced with an ACT Street HD Street Clutch and the Prolite Flywheel. After it was installed, days later, The Check Engine caome on. The Code Reader came up with a misfire. It would be either cylinder 1, 2, 3, or 4. Funny thing is, my 04 WRX Wagon is not misfiring. Any soultion (s) to this?

Thank you for time

the lightweight flywheels tend to do that from my knowledge time to time...

Yes it is due to the lightweigth flywheel.

And no there isn't much you can do (unless you remove that lightweight flywheel), you will need to get a code reader and just clear it each time.

*The Prolite Flywheel is a competion flywheel (it only weighs 9.6 lbs.) If you had gotten the Streetlite Flywheel you most likely would not have this issue, as it's 13.9lbs. (that is the only one we recommed for street application here)

I have this same issue on my 2001 RS with an Exedy l/w flywheel (13.9lbs IIRC). I just wanted to mention that it only happens on cold starts (dead cold like over night) and as long as I control my car's idle until warm rather than just letting it idle, I can keep this particular CEL away pretty much indefinitely. It seems to only throw misfires on cold idle. Just wanted to throw that out there in case it helps.
