Just as the question states because, I myself, am on a mission to find one!

 

I got pretty lucky with mine. My fiance had decided to not even bother with an RS because they were so hard to find. We were actually going to head down to the Bay and check out a 2001 Legacy GT Limited 5spd. Well, the day before I went out to Roseville to pick up some friends at the dealership there and on the lot was a 2001 2.5RS, white with factory leather interior. So hot. I'm friends with the sales guy there so he got me a pretty good price and I bought it. Fiance loves it

 

I wanted BRP GM6 00-01 5SPD no accident. took me about a year to find one...

 

wow you did get luckey ... if your talkin Roseville MI, the only thing i walked outta that place with was a rap sheet and in a sepprate incident a broken arm... (stupid airborn skate park right across from MCC.

When i had my accident with my firbird I went out to look at 2 cars about 100 miles from my house neer annarbor to look at 2 cars. Saturn sc2 and a v6 tibaron. I drove the saturn and liked how it handeled and hated how it accelerated, the tibaron had a crappy intirror and handeled like poop but accelerated like a mad man and was fully decked out.
my mom and I went to eat at a little dinner next to the subaru lot and i mentioned that i loved a awd of the subarus but they are expencive.. and she talked me into going to look at them... i was apposed to it because i was affrade of falling in love with a wrx that was too much for me.
there i saw my 2 door and fell dead in love when i drove it... it was the most nutral car i ever drove, handeling, power, intirror feel , and bounding thru unplowed snow like nothing sold me on it in a second. 11k worth of financing later she was mine.
funny thing about that when i came home after seeing the car i was talking to my friend and i was a little on the fence about a non turbo car and my friend started asking me the questions like power windows? power locks? power mirrors? power seats? a/c... and i just simply replied ' I dont know it was a manual and was fun to drive'!!

so mine fell into my lap after 30 seconds of looking on the subaru lot.

Took me a couple months to find mine. I ended up driving one back from Tucson. Tucson to Chicago area=alot of miles. Got a great deal though.

 

i looked for about 2 months. flew from Utah and drove it back from washington. it was the perfect car, had everything i wanted and was super clean.

 

6 months and I had to settle for a salvaged rs h no!: but I got a steal for it still.

 

I bought mine right after the wrx came out so it only took me a few days. I wasnt really looking for an RS, It was looking for me.
