From the first day you took possession of your subie (purchased, leased, gifted, whatever), how long before you were pulled over by a cop or CHP?

(and what was the reason for pullover?)

 

about 2 weeks.

Total police profiling, I happened to have a black friend with me, the cops thought we stole it

I promptly showed him my ID and the registration in the front window

He said he coulding see it since my "wing was so big". yeah, kinda hard to see the front windshield lower portion, at night, from behind, with rear tinted glass

It was surely the wings fault *rolls eyes*

I have been pulled over int he evo for speeding through kettleman city, the cop let me go

 

for following too close. i was following my friend and we were trying some slipstream on the freeway. CHP saw me and pulled me over. thought being honest was the right thing to do with cops. so i told them. they asked me where my plates were and i told them i never recieved them, this was like 2 months after i bought my car.

 

1-3 months.. 120mph down i-80 in the top of Nevada on my way to wyoming.. Cop was cool him and i chopped it up for awhile on the side of the highway.. He put me down for 99 in a 75 just so i could keep my car.

 

about 4 months after i put my exhaust on i got pulled over. i had a blitz nurspec. then he also got me for tint in front windows and no front liscense plate

 

I got pulled over about 2 weeks after getting my car. He pulled me over for no plates. I told him I just got the car. He wanted to see the "Proof of Purchase". Being the smart *** that I am, I told him it didn't come from a box of Rice Krispies. He wrote me a fix-it ticket. Got it written off an hour later.

had my car for over 2 yrs and never got pulled over, not until i dropped it and put rims on .

Made a right turn at a stop light with a car going twice as fast in front of me, cop was coming from opposite direction. I watched as he made a u turn, I checked my speed and was going speed limit, pulled me over right away and gave me a ticket for speeding. Went to court, cop couldn't prove it so I won.

 

Yea I did. Thats why I was being a smart ***. This was about a year ago, before there were a lot of new STi's on the road. I think he just wanted to go back to the station and tells his buddies he just pulled one over and wrote me the fix it as a memory?

 

1 week, gettin on the freeway, ran through the gears to the top of fourth, and started slowing down and saw the cop with his lights on behind me. 89 in a 65

 

i got pulled over coming back from mt hammy last year about 2 months after i bought the car. i had taken the dealer plates off so the sheriff said he thought the car was stolen but i did a little name dropping and we had a laugh about it, never even mentioned my tinted windows. =) also got pulled over by a chp for speeding 56 in a 40, he also asked if i had any engine modifications, at the time i was catless stg 2, i just said i had a muffler and he said have a good day keep the speed down.

 

Just so the negatives don't give the wrong image.

almost 5 years...heck, almost paid off. I drive very spirited, but smart (well I lke to think so). Never been pulled over.
