Is this thread about winter wheels or tires? (The post title says rims, the thread seems to be about tires) 
The RE92's are horrible in the snow. The only people that will tell you otherwise are those who have never driven a real snow tire in snowy conditions.
With that being said, you have to make the call as to how much snow you'll encounter, and what level of tire you need.
Here's my winter setup, I'll be sure to get some better pics tomorrow when it snows!
