Wheel width/offset question
Wheel width/offset question
On wheels where spokes go all the way to the outer edge of the lip, if you have the same wheel with the exact same offset but two different widths, say 7.5 and 10 inch, will the spokes look any different visually? I mean will the spokes curve inward more on the wider 10" wheel in order to compensate for the extra width? How do wheel mfrs usually deal with this?
Why I ask is I saw a really nice looking wheel in 19x10" size and I'm considering getting the same wheel in 18x7.5" but I'm worried there might be a large visual difference between what I saw and what I might get.
Thanks

typically the 10" wheel will have the same face as the 7.5" wheel because the difference in size is created with a larger mounting pad but, there are exceptions to this rule so, make sure you have a decent return option if you do not like the 7.5's
