wheel size and offset
Morning all
can any one tell me the optimum offset for 17x7 wheels for the '94 JDM Legacy GT?
the owner before me fitted what looks like 18x7.5 which are rubbing the fender so i need to change down
I have seen sizes from 35 to 55 mm offset which seems a heck load of difference to me??
will i be able to get away with the 2002-4 WRX wheels? as i think these are 17x7.5 too?

Stock WRX wheels are 16x6.5". They'll fit very easily, and are a popular wheel for the first and second generation Legacy owners to upgrade to.
My Prodrive 17x7" wheels were a 53 or 55mm offset, and they fit very well on my old 93 wagon that was lowered with coilovers. They will fit with a struts suspension as well, and were designed to be used on modified Imprezas, which use the same suspension as the Legacy up to 99.
