What is a good size tire to put on a 17x8 wheel that will be mounted on a STI I was thinking a 235/40/17 but on Subydude's site they put 245/40/17 and I plan to lower it with probably either the STI pink springs or the Prodrive when they come out..Any suggestions would be helpful and tire suggestions under $199.00 a tire car will see some track but mostly day-to-day driving and some spirted driving.

 

I know of many running 235/40-17 with a good deal of success
