what wheel width is good?

Hi,
I have a 99 wagon and I just wanted to know what wheel width is good 7" or 8" I'm thinking 7" will be good with 17" wheels

hows it goin....
17" rim.....
the 17x 8 would look better.
but 7 is cool.
the widest yiu can go on a subaru is 8.
i have 18x8.
unless you do some major fender work.
but go with the 8.

Car Info: Broken ass stock '02 WRX

depends on where your going to drive it... snow/mud/dirt its good to get a skinnier tire/rim, i got some 7.5 mostly for street with a little bit of dirt....
