tires for the track

i got a 02 wrx a few months ago and im going to be taking it up to a track a couple times this year and i was wondering if anyone had some ideas on a good tire to use. im looking for a tire that wont get oily and over heat to fast. i was thinking about Bridgestone Potenza RE750 and the S-03s. if any one has suggestions about these and other tires it would be great.

If you're using 225/45-17 I'd look at the Pilot Sport PS2. If you're using another size, look at the S-03, Pirelli P-Zero Rosso (make sure it's the ROSSO), and Pilot Sport.
