Laguna was THE best for shifter karts when I was racing.. Trackmagic 125cc +1000 FTMFW! Powered by Yamaha of course.. It was even more fun on the streets around Los Altos at 3am..

I go to Sears all the time... every weekend that I'm not driving my spec miata basically

It keeps the reflexes honed for big track driving. Theres a prokart challenge race at SP this weekend, my buddy's racing in it. I will do some prokart races later this season but this weekend I'm at Laguna.

Wow that dixon track is all the way out there. I thought it would be pretty close to Davis but it's a long drive from Dixon. Here's one in Davis. I haven't gone to check it out but from the satellite images, it looks pretty run down.

HOT DAMN! thats a FINE TRACK! nice organic turns aka they didnt use measurment devices while laying the asphalt lol. But reallly nice track!

My friends dad took me out to one out of Oakdale, it was all run down, weeds growing out of the asphalt, etc but i remember it being fun. just cant find it anymore.

Yeah i didnt make my title clear, i meant our subarus and other cars on the shifter tracks lol.

But my neighbor has AJ Almond-dingers old shifter cart, so that would be cool to test out sometime.

How much does Sears charge on a typical practice day? or whats the cheapest option if you have your own kart?

My friend and i wanna put an XR600 honda 4 stroke engine on his kart, but not sure if it would be legal at a pro track for some reason.

Ahhh the ballz memoriez

yeah Infineon is sick. SUPER PRO status

Dont even get me started on Japans kart tracks. SO HOT! and they let cars drive on them, which is my ultimate goal.

LOL a car on the Dixon or Davis kart track!? Yeah right! I don't think you could get a car out there... you would probably miss all of the turns since they are so tight. You might be able to get a car out at the sears track, mayyyyybeeee Davis but deff not Dixon.

^thats the argument all the tracks give me when i call them.

But how wide are the roads in WRC? 1 car width? and they do them at 90mph?

How wide is an autoX 10 feet in places, 15-20 feet average. so im sure these kart tracks are all 15 feet wide at least.

Thats the whole point of going out there in a car, its a skinny track, thats what makes it a chalenge

That Davis track is almost as wide as the county road its next to, so its at least 15 feet wide
