I agree with subie4life, I'd look at the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs. They have great grip, even in the rain. They offer a high level of performance for a really good price.

$135 for a Chinese tire with NO review, and one user review from a Miyata guy who was too cheap to put them on the front wheels? Yeah.

the current Car and Driver has a good test done on all major performance tires....except they did not have the Falken.

Here's the link: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...mparison_tests

The Hankook Evo's look really good.

that test was done to compare some low cost tires to the PS2. Most of them are not "Major performance tires" as most of those were not in the test. The Top three not in the test are the Potenza RE11, The Kumho Ecsta XS and the ADVAN Neova AD08.

that Hankook is pretty good but, the smart money is still on the Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec

My Yokohama S.drives have severe cupping and wear after just 11 months, they are complete garbage tires. How they made it to #6 in that countdown is beyond my comprehension.

No on should be paying any money for a Hankook anything. Why would you go with that brand when there are so many established, long-term brands that have decades of research and racing development behind them?
