Tire/wheel fitment question
Guys,
I need some help. I am looking for a Wheel/tire package for me 2002 WRX sedan which is going to be lowered with Eibach Prodrive springs and eventually a 328mm Brembo big brake kit or similar. The car requires +48mm offset but since it's going to be lowered, should I increase the offset or am I okay with 215/45/17 tires with 48mm offset? If not, please suggest a wheel offset/tire combination that will work with my 2002 WRX sedan.
OZ Crono Evolution (17 lbs)
17x7 (w/48mm offset)
215/45/17 Kumho tires
BTW, what do you guys think of the OZ Crono Evolutions? My car is Silver...no enhancements yet. Sorry no pics.
Thanks!
Tim

You should be safe with 215's on a lowered car, any wider and you might start to rub. The Chrono Evo is a decent wheel, it's not one of my favorites, but it is nice. Plus, OZ Racing is known for quality and durability.
It's cool that you're a fellow Rochesterian, also named Tim!
