Tire pressure
Just wondering what u guys are setting tire pressure at using the stock 16 in wheels and tires at the drag strip? I have been told to deflate just the rear tires to about 20-25 psi but i have also been told to inflate all four tires to about 35-40 psi. I went to the track last week and deflated just the rear tires to 22 psi and hit 14.7 @ 89 mph (i know slow for stock WRX but it was my first time, cut me some slack)w/ 2.02 60 ft time. Any experiences with this and what was the result??

Just run regular street pressure. You don't need to change it for the drag strip. Guys lower their tire pressure for better launch traction. (Ever see slicks crinkle?) You have computer controlled AWD on a stock WRX... you won't be doing 4 wheel burn outs any time soon
On the stock tires I ran 38 all around. Different people like a different feel. With my Yoks I now run 40 and at the track (road course) I run 45 (the max).
