tire pressure

I just put 17" P1's on my 99 RS. They have 215/45-17's, what is a good air pressure?

You could stick with the Subaru recommendation without problem, but I usually add a few pounds for added responsiveness and rim protection from potholes. Just don't exceed the maximum cold pressure listed on the tire itself.

what tire pressure would you recommend for a wrx with 225/45/17? stock pressure values are 33ft/lbs for 215/45/17 so all i did was add a little more to account for the extra width.

I run mine between 38-40 PSI because I focus on gas mileage and handling over smoothness. I recommend trying 36 PSI and see how it suits you.
