Exclamation Tire Expert Needed!

I've got a set of 5zigen fno1r-c's 18 x 8.5 with 38 offset.

i want to know the biggest tire i can put on without rubbing.

i have eibach pro springs and a 04 wrx sedan.

help.

PS have TIS currently on but stretched. Wanted to go bigger but was afraid of rubbing. Any recommendations on better tires? Rain and Heat for street?

+38 offset is too low. Especially on a +38. I would imagine that even 225/35/18 would rub. You can try it. My advice, sell wrong spec wheels and buy something in no lower than +45 offset.

uh, tommy, just so you know, you have 48 offset, not 38. so i believe you can run up to like 245 no problem. but i'm not the expert so ppl please do give advice.

its a long shot but i'd love to trade the tires i have for the same model but bigger ones. wider ones! just as long as it didn't rub. should have never got the ones i got.

go big or go home!

245 will require fender rolling. If you don't mind getting some mild fender rolling 245's should be fine. 235's should be pretty safe.

dude, ppl run 255 or some even run 265 with no problems. let me ask around a lil bit and see how it worked out for them. reguardless, i think you can run 245 np, maybe even 255. 48 offset is really safe, so i doubt they'll rub.

as for the trade, they dont offer anything like that, sorry... but try to sell it. i'll give you player price on the bigger ones once we find out how big.

I used to run 225/40/18 on some 18x8.5's with +35 offset.

I just got some new gram light 57f's 18x8.5 with +45 offset. What size tires should i run? I tried the wheels on and theres only a little bit of clearance between the wheel and the coilovers.
