Tire Comparison Question
I did a search but couldn't find anything....
Which tire is better in dry handling and in the rain?
Bridgstone S-03 Pole Position
BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDW 2
Any input would be appreciated
Thanks

check out tirerack.com they have the reviews for those 2 tires.. they are both pretty good in dry and wet. iirc, the kdw has better traction in the rain..

They are tremendous, but I can't compare them to the S-03's.
When I power out of curves, I can feel some slip but I think that it's because my swaybar is a tiny, stock RS one. Weight distribution isn't governed a bit.
With that said, though, even with the slip, it's never out of control. Neither the car nor my feel of control.
It's raining for the first time today since I've had them. I'm going to go experiment here a little later.
HTH, but I know that I haven't had them long enough to give a better review.

KDW 2's are awesome, and I like Pat have never tried the S-03's. I bet they are a great tire, but I am super happy with my KDW 2's. I can go very fast in the rain without any slip. I have tried to loose grip with these tires and it was just not going to happen. They are too good especially in the rain.

I lost a little grip from a launch in the rain tonight. I was taking a 90 degree turn in 1st gear. Still the best I've driven on. Again, if there was a rear sway bar, I think the results would be different. I really had to push them to make them slip.
I went to the DMV parking lot (empty) tonight in the rain as well. In 2nd gear moving about 15mph, they didn't slip a bit until I got off the gas, but back on the gas they'd re-grip.
The only tires I have experience with are that I've been on the original KDWs and Yokohama AVS.

matt you need to stop speeding like a madman in the rain. thats the problem.
nates tires do look sweet- i think as soon as my stockers are worn i'm either going with those or the azenis(which i am very familiar with).
