hey guys,
I'm sort of in the market for new tires and remember seeing an article reviewing a standard all season tire to a Kumho race compound tire and all of the results were that the race compound tire beat the standard all season tire, even in the rain. Does anyone else remember this article or where I may have seen it? I subscribe to Road and Track, Car and Driver, Motor Trend, Automobile and have plenty of issues but not sure which one it was or if I read it elsewhere... Can anyone help? TIA!

picked up some Toyo T1Rs. great tires and awesome wear. great handling rain or heat. garbage for snow otherwise

 

if your going to be driving in the snow, a high performance tire is not what you want to be looking at. if your not going to be driving in the snow at all then i would say look at the toyo t1-R. its very good in the rain.
