I have an 01 RS and my friend has an STi. I'll try to find out next time I go to visit him.

I didn't know the STi had a different bolt pattern. Then again, I've only had my Scooby 3 days so there is still A LOT I have to learn about them.

yeah, you would need 04 wheels, otherwise you'd have to swap hub, brakes, and god knows what else.

Yeah, the 04 wheels will fit no problems. Well, maybe a little rubbing, but not much IIRC. Don't even really need to roll the fenders, just pull off that little black strip I think.

My friend had some gold BBS STi takeoffs on his 01 white sedan, and I think the very mild rubbing was the only problem he had.

Ive heared rumors of powdercoating wheels. i think it weakens the wheel and they bend or something or "fail" on track days. but yea black sti wheels maybe with a silver lip on a silver gc would like real hot. if i were you, id buy cheaper wheels with nice tires and just spend the extra money on other parts.

the only thing i could think of is when they heat them up... i doubt however that they heat them enough to make them brittle..

So, I just got to talk to a friend about the STi wheels on his GC, and he said they never quite fit right. You'll need some camber bolts for the front and rear, and you'll need to roll the fenders quite a bit, otherwise you'll rub.

I knew there were some minor problems with getting them to fit, just couldn't remember exactly what they were.
