I just got a set of 205/55 M2s a coupel weeks ago... and of course there's been no snow in Reno since.
Next time we get ice and snow I'll do a full review on them. So far in the dry they're not tht bad actually. I really should set my sway bar back to 20mm from 24, but I just take care on the roundabouts on my commute for now...

Seems like a good place to post this question, I just got my Wrx a few weeks ago. And I just got a taste of my current tires in the snow, basicly they suck. I was thinking of getting some Continental ContiExtremeContacts. My friend has some on his mustang they seem to eat through the snow and be a good all season tire.
Well I can't find them in the stock wrx rim size, I was woundering if it would be fine to bring it up to a 215/55/16 on the stock rims? Has anyone had any problems doing this?

It's better to stick to stock size. For snow tires I'd recommend either the Dunlop WinterSport M2s ($89) M3s($105) or Michelin AlpinSport2s ($115 I think).

Oh yeah those too.
I've never actually used snow tires in snow myself. That's just the cumulative recommendation of all the friends with Subarus up here (probably 12-15... all autocross or track their Scoobs). I've heard good things about Blizzaks but they're a bit more expensive,a nd since he was asking about Contis I figured budget was a concern.
