Recomended Tires

highly recomended tires for WRX

BFGoodrich Geforce KDW2

had a set on my 02 WRX with 17" wheels. and damn do they hold the road! and they have a soft ride. and quiet too!

(me and my father own an exotic car dealership. So I have driven every car/Tire combo there is and I put these tires on all my customers cars now!)

Just put them on a CL600 Mercedes. Upgraded her rims to the 19" CL65 Rims with these tires. She had 18" with michlin pilot sports. and was complaining about ride comfort/noise/and unsafe in rain/and how washy they were. now I saw her fly by at around 90 the other day in the rain... Also had a call from her as well as other customers(which dosent happen often) raving about how awsome the tires are dry/wet

So Make these tires your next choice! you will be very happy!

Recommended tires

I have an 04 WRX wagon. I replaced my stock wheels and tires - what junk (the OEM tires) - with 18x 8 Ro_Ja racing wheels and Fuzion ZR1 tires. The difference in handling is DRAMATIC!! You can't get the wheels from Ro_Ja anymore as they're discontued but the tires are quite available and VERY reasonably priced considering their performance. BTW they are W rated 40 series. Highly Recommended!!!!

I can testify for these tires greatly, I have them on my WRX, and they grip like nothing else, are quiet, and I can go over 110 in the pouring rain nothing wrong with going fast in the rain if you car can handle it, and you arent aqua planing. going 110 in the rain with a honda civic wouldnt be a good thing... I dont care what tires you have.
BTW before you call me an idiot. Im not some idiot kid who dosent know how to drive. Its lame to brag about stuff so I wont. Just buy these tires, they rock.

oh and as for this "dingbat" she knows very well how to drive. she has a 01 Porsche 911 Track Car she races regularly. (trust fund baby) so dont judge people unless you know them please.

its not the accelerating in the wet that's the problem . . . it's the stopping, same goes for snow. AWD doesn't help you when you need to stop!

I haven't made any comments regarding the the state of your relative mental development, which appears to be in the normal range. And I haven't dissed the tires, either. However, anyone who is bombing a CL600 (which, I'm assuming from your description is on the street and not the track) in the rain at 90 MPH is not a good driver. The description "dingbat" is generous given this level of irresponsibility. I don't care if she's rich or not or does F1 for a living, driving like that on a public road is moronic. Judgement? Yep.

Unless of course you are in Germany and have some good M+S tires or any other good wet weather tires. Then driving 90mph+ on the autobahn in the rain is just going 10mph faster than the slow lane ;-) Just don't forget to upgrade those brakes!

Yea, I have to chime in here and agree 100% with this. You are an idiot if your driving on public roads in the rain at speeds in excess of 90mph. Too many variables that are out of your control. Yea, I could tell you that I'm the greatest driver in the world, that doesn't give me the right to endanger other drivers lives in the event murphy rears his ugly head. Too say that "I'm such a good driver, I'll never crash in the rain doing 100+MPH." is just retarded. Sounds like something a naive 17 year old would say.

driving that fast is dangerous enough on dry pavement.
