Tien SS with edfc recomended settings

I just bought a 05 sti with modified suspension. (im picking it up in the morning!)

it has

Tein SS Coilovers with EDFC
Cusco Swaybars front and rear
Kartboy Endlinks front and rear

does anyone have any experience using the ss coilovers, and if so, does anyone have any advice on which settings are good for what.

as far as like, what do you normally have them set at when driving on the freeway, vs driving hard on a windy road.

im sure once i get the car i will be able to feel it out, but i was wondering if anyone who allready has them could give me a head start.

also, is it allright to have the front and rear set differently, like 6 in the back and 4 in the front, and if so which end should be stiffer for the best handeling.

any help would be greatley appriciated!

It really depends on what you are looking for. Start in the middle and work your way around. Since you have the EDFC, you can just change the settings with a push of a button. It is trial and error. As for the dampening settings for the front and rear, you can run them at different settings.

so i got the car today and i love it!

thats pretty much what i did. i started in the middle of the edfc and played around with it.

does anyone know which end should be stiffer for the best handeling? i know their is more weight in the front of the car? does that make a difference?

Once again. It depends. My coilover set-up is so stiff, I just set it to the lowest setting. You won't really know for sure unless you really push the car in turns. I'd say, go as low as possible before you get rubbing.

For street, I run lowest front and rear. For auto-x, I run 8/15 in the front and 5/15 in the rear, but that is because I know my car tends to be a little oversteer biased.

Remember that you are tweaking the car to your preference. That'll be different for everyone else. Don't forget things like air pressure, sway bars, and tire size will play into the equation.
