Question Recomended Car AUdio Shops in the South Bay ?

I have a friend who just bought a Saabaru. Circuit City said they can't replace the head unit (sounds like BS to me). Anyone know of a reputable shop in the SanJo/Santa Clara/South Bay area ?
TIA

if you're just getting a deck swapped out go to bestbuy or something like that. They are certified installers there.

I know of a place in the bay that does killer work but the price is a mint. For the life of me the name won't come out of me...I'll figure it out and get back to you. Off 880.

bah. Just stay away from Pacific Stereo, Stereo City, etc.

2cam16: If you're just doing a head unit, that's pretty easy stuff. All you need to do is get the harness to either solder to or wire crimp together - which will make your aftermarket head unit plug straight into the factory plug.

across the pond from the South Bay, but Sound Innovations in Hayward does excellent work on auto security & especially audio+video systems. Check them out. My boy, James, over there is one of the nation's top installers too (he won the recent Sony XPLOD competition that was put on by Sony for professional installers to showcase their skills.....it was an invite-only competition too)

It's not my car, as I posted in the beginning. If it was I wouldn't even ask the question.
