question about tire width
sorry if this is a noob question. i've been lookin around online about my question which is...
i am going to have some 8" wide wheels in a few months.. and i know that 235's will fit just fine.. will i have any problems trying to put 245s on it? i read a few sites including yokohama which stats that their 245/40-17 will fit anywhere from a 8.0-9.5" wheel.. my question is, will it be risky or in any way dangerous to put 245's on 17x8 wheels?
thanks,
Andrew

You'll have no problems with the rims, you can even put them on 7.5s, tho it wouldn't be ideal. Where you'll have troubles is with rubbing, you may not have rubbing (look at the 255 thread) but you also may, and it is fairly likely. Hope that helped GL
