OZ Superleggera durability question
I know there's been a lot of discussion about the OZ SLs...and i know they are extremely lightweight rims. I really like these rims but I heard some users comment that they are not that strong and durable, and I'm concerned about that because I drive a lot between Boston and NYC where the roads can be pretty crappy. My question is, are the Superleggeras LESS durable than the stock 16" rims? Will I be stand a greater chance of damaging my rims or getting a flat if i upgrade from stock? Can anyone comment on this?
Also, if anybody has a WRX with 17" SLs, i would LOVE to see a picture. Thanks.

Durability on the Superleggera is great. If it were available in 16" I'd say it is as resistant to bending as the OE wheel. The bigger you go, the more likely a wheel is to touch something harder than rubber - and bend. So a 17" or 18" of any brand will be "less durable" in terms of the size of pothole required to bend it.
I have the 17" Superleggeras on my WRX. I haven't had any problems with durability at all. The only negative about them is their 7" width. When you mount a 225 tire on them it sticks out a little from the wheel. I think a 215 would be a better fit.
