New tires, breakin time

Ok, got myself new tires...how should I break these in? I'm tempted to push hard. What happens if you don't break them in properly? Thanks.

Tires don't have break-in time.

If you drive too hard too soon you may spin the wheel(s) in the tire(s)(the mounting lube needs to 'dry') and fubar your ballance...also there is a mold release agent(lube from the manufacturing process) on the tires that has to wear off the tread....and that may take a few miles...be careful

There is really no break in time on a tire. Yes, at first you might need to wear off all the crap that is on the tire before you go to the mountains, but that shouldn't take too long.
