I am in the market for a new set of wheels and I really like the Rota Battle in the Steel Grey. I have a 2004 WRB WRX and I really like the look of gunmetal/steel grey/anthracite/hyperblack/etc. However, I want to buy a wheel that is 17x8 or 17x8.5 so that when/if I make any sort of suspension upgrades I will be able to fit a larger tire than a 225 and not run into any sort of tread roll over.

I need your help, please, in locating a wheel that is of the split 5 star style, or even a 6 or 7 star split. I want to try to stay under $250 per wheel, stay light, and stay strong. Forged or cast is fine. Thanks in advance everyone.

I guess these wheels will fit the WRX? Any idea on what the offset and style are going to be, and what colors they will be offered in?

My tax return is burning a hole in my pocket ;-)

 

They will be a split spoke star. Pictures will be out in a week. Offset is 48mm for Subaru application and will clear STI Brembos
