how much does the spare weigh?

how much does the spare weigh?

hey. i'm playing with a G-tech right now and i need to get some stats so i can accurately calibrate it.

the manual says my car weighs 3165lbs. is that with the spare? thanks.

i would assume that it is with the spare, i always thought the wieght of the vehicle was as is off showroom floor for the base model

some please correct me if i am wrong

I thought the weight shown in the manual is with spare and fluids as well. But I never really could find a straight answer. You'd be best served by trying to find somewhere to weigh your car, do it with a full tank. You can try a weigh station that is closed, maybe even a landfill.

yeah just go to a weigh station and weigh it. i know a lot of the street racers in vegas like to go do that and it works from what i hear

ehh. i sorta don't live near any of those. hey, if there are some in the east bay (bay area) sure.

i did some math. rough math. lol. took the density of "petrol" and calculated the weight of ~13 gallons of gas. about 80 something. that's actually not that much come to think of it. haha.

whatever that was lame.
