It depends on whether they're leaving out the head unit, 6 speakers, and wiring, or just the HU. If they're leaving them all out you could probably account for 50 lbs or more. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable having all that installed after the fact by the dealer, versus just swapping out a deck from a stock stereo, but it'd be warranteed, so there's probably not much to worry about. The pictures on MSN's auto coverage show a standard WRX stereo in place.

 

Id rather havve the Stereo than worry about 50 pounds. I'd even add the extra weight of the sub. just not that big of a deal.

*sarcasm* besides all the cats in fast and the furious had stereos and they all drive 10 second cars.
