Help and opinions please.

I am a new 02WRX owner. I have only had the car for about 5 days and have just recently been looking up some stuff to put on it. As for wheels, the link below is what i had in mind. I want to get them 17x8 and was wondering what size tires would be best without rubbing. Any and all input is appreciated, thanks.

the best tire sizefor your car with 17x8 wheels would be 225/45-17

Okay, thanks. And in terms of MPG? There is a bit of traveling i do daily so I was curious. Also, from what i understand, cast wheels tend to break/bend a bit, but i was wondering to what extent? I heard the stock wheels are cast also... EDIT: I forgot one thing. What offset should I use? I am looking for good gas mileage/semi good performance. not too much racing other than straight line

wheeldude.com, he's local, located in Fremont I believe, rims are nice and they're cheap too.

Had two set's of their rims before, 1st set were on my old 00' RS when it got totaled now they're on my friends 04 wrx, I have some Rota Torques on my 05 RS right now, they're gonna go with the car when the buyer buys my car tomorrow.

okay, at least i have an idea. well, if i pick up the FN01R Forged white wheels that are on sale, i'll probably go for 235, since it is 17x7.5 and just lower the car a little bit.

Okay, so I am definitely picking up the FN01R Forged. They come with tires already so no need to buy any. Austin says they got a fair amount of tread left so I'm just gonna keep those on.
