+38mm offset ok?

I am thinking about getting some Enkei GF1 17x7.5 +38 offset, will I need spacers?

What kind of car is it? All that information is worthless unless we know what kind of car it's going on. And there are no difference in wheels from fwd to rwd to awd.

for an 04 tl impreza wagon, my major concern is the +38mm offset. will this put too much weight on the bearings? will spacers help?

Offset is way off for a subaru. It could work w/ spacers but you would need pretty big spacers for that offset and that is not good for the car.

spacers will only worsen the problem (38mm offset + 5mm spacer = 33mm offset)

buy another set of wheels
