How do you drift a front wheel drive car?

As some of you know, my RS was wrecked.
So now I have a rental car and that means do nutty **** in it.
Its hard enough to spin the tires on a Mazda Protege but how do I fishtail a front wheel drive without the hand brake?

And why isn't every Mazda a rotory?

YEAH RENTAL CARS!!!

haaaaa....I've done donuts like that...good times.

As far as drifting......it's not easy....look it up online...find some videos...find yourself some wet roads with no one on them please....or a vacant parking lot is best.

Some folks use the e-brake to get it sharted. Besides that it's a matter of forced loss of traction...combination of brake/turn/gas.

I had a huge sway bar on my car in the back so that helped me..

Mostly I just say you go out to a wet parking lot...like behind the wearhouses in fremont or hayward.....and just start playing.

On my way home from work today I think I will make a stop at a fast food joint and pick up some trays.
Later I think I will go out to Folsom lake and go off road.

Ebrake:banana:

I think you'll need to do a braking drift, with a side drift. but that's about it. no power over, you might be able to do a feint drift too.

Me personally I wheeled the crap out of my last rental....but it was a suburban.

I know, I should have gotten the F150 truck but I hate driving big vehicles. I like 'em small and nimble. I also like my women small and limber.

watch out with them trays.. i was messin around with trays with my old p.o.s. jetta and one of the trays broke. my friend video taping said it was still under my tire, but when i was done i looked at my tire and there was a HUGE flat spot. the flat spot made my wheel bounce around and bent a bunch of other sh*t. make sure u dont get some pinner taco bell trays.

that's probably the truest statement ever...haaaaa.

Trucks...hell yes....good freaking times. I had an 88 ford ranger and that thing was fun as hell to drive.

trays...yes....loosing a tray is a bad thing. That's you use rentals and find some metal trays.....lol.
