Best Tires For Me?

My car is basically stock and im on a tight budget. I would like to get some better tires for my car, but i dont know what ones to even consider. Im looking for something that is an all season tire that performs better then stock but still has good tread life. Can someone help me out with this?

I have these, they are horriblly soft!

They are kinda grippy, but the sidewall flex of these tires makes RE92s seem like a real performance tire.

check out www.vulcantire.com

and get the Falken ZE-512s. Subydude runs these on the wife's wagon, they are pretty great tires. Grippy, not a lot of flex, and M+S rated with great treadlife.

buy my conti's. =) i have a set brand new, saw the ratings on tire rack and nasioc. they are 225/50/16 quite a bit wider than stocks with lower sidewall ratio so that should help with the flex. i was going to use these on RS wheels but decided to get snow tires instead. i'm in nj too, asking 300 picked up (they're $350+shipping new) these were never mounted and still have the stickers on them. shoot me an email if you're interested bluestonex@hotmail.com. i'm gone til next weekend but i can meet up then.

205-50-16 for a WRX wheel.

Many people run 225/50's on stock WRX wheels with no problems at all.

Tire Rack has Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 in this size for $127ea.
Now THOSE would rock!!!

Go with the OE spec 205/55/16, or plus zero to a 225/50/16.

Uh, they guy said All-Season. I think it's been known to snow in Jersey Anyways, Dunlop SP5000 are very popular choice of all season high performance tires on a budget. The 225 and 205 is only different in price by a dollar($102 vs 101) on Tire Rack so you can't lose w/ either.

In your shoes I'd go 225 width - it's really six of one, half dozen of the other. I just prefer the look of the 225s myself. Conti Extremes or SP 5000s are both great choices. Also consider the Sumitomo HTR+ but the previous two will do better on wet roads.
