Question Avon Tech M550 A/S VS Falken Ziex Ze 512

Looking for a cheap all season. I think I've narrowed it down to these two. Tirerack.com rated the Avon tech 550s highest in it's class. Unfortunately, they don't include a Falken line of tires. I've heard amazing things about Falken tires and I'm thinking about trying them out. I'd get the Azenis, but I need something for the mountains too.

So, since edgeracing.com is selling the Ziex tires for REAL CHEAP, I'm definitely concidering them. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Also, how much stickier are the Azenis on dry pavement compared to the Ziex's? I heard the Azenis are scary in the rain too.

Thanks for the help.

The Falkens are great, dry, rain, snow, whatever. You can find them cheaper from Discount Tire and Vulcan Tire online, compared to Edge Racing.

That's what I hear, but I've heard really good things about the Avons too. I wish companies would just let you "test run" their tires for a week or so Hmm......Maybe I will go with the Falkens. They're actually cheaper than the Avons.

When both look good - go with price or flip a coin - don't beat yourself over such a minor issue
