Avon Tech or BFGoodrich?
trying to decide between the Avon Tech M550 A/S and the BFGoodrich G-Force KDWS. They are priced the same for a 205/55/16 tire, but the Avon Tech has better specs. is there something I'm overlooking?

I have the Avontech's, they rock, couldn't believe a cheaper tire would perform better than a more expensive tire. They are stiff walled, and look almost siped upon close inspection. I live in Norcal, and face rain, snow, and hot days. Never once have I heard these tires squeal no matter how hard I take corners. I always love testing to see how fast I can go around a corner before they start to squeal. One downside is that they tramline like crazy on grooved highways at highspeeds, but as long as you have good control of your car, doesn't really matter, I've never thought I'd wreck or go out of control (my gf hasn't either). Truly beat out my Yokohama tires I had before.
I just replaced my RE92s with the Avons. Wow! They've only been on for 2 days but I can definetly feel the difference. Plus they're really freakin quiet. Even when they do break loose. The performance/price ratio on these tires I think is pretty outstanding. The sidewalls seem a little soft when cornering hard though. But I'm running them on 16s. I bet they'd feel better on 17s.
