Hey there guys,

I was wondering and still pondering if having two different thread depths on a set of rims is going to affect the center diff.. For example. the front pair 225/45/17 with 8/32 thread depth and the rear in the same specs with a thread depth of between 6/32 and 7/32. If anyone knows, please feel free to express your knowledge.

thanks
walter

I think if the overall circumference is within 1/2" you're ok. 2/32 can easily be the difference between tires on a poorly rotated set of tires, which I'm sure many people drive around on every day

5/32" difference is make or break point ....
