Hello Im a newb,
I was talking w/ some fellow car enthuasists and a few said that when upgradeing to an 18" wheel that you could have braking problems...... harder to brake while driving. Is this true? If true, do you have to upgrade to bigger better brake system? Thinkin' of purchasing 18" Rota Subzero's.
2002 Subaru WRX (Blue)

The only thing a bigger wheel is going to do is maybe increase the rotating mass of the entire tire/wheel combo, but you're not going to feel it.
Sounds like somebody wanting to sound knowledgable, but they're arguing about differences out in the 4th decimal place.
Of course, bigger rotors and calipers will fit inside a bigger wheel, so if you're heart is set on a brake upgrade, you have an excuse.
