This probably won't apply to someone who needs a daily driver, but I've been lurking here for a long while and thought I'd throw this out there to see if there was any interest. It has been said that these cars are kindred spirits, given their respective homologation status and impressive records in rallying and touring car racing. And driving a car with a pedigree is cool.

I have a track ready E30 M3 (1988, the boxy bodystyle) that I'd be willing to trade for a WRX (not the current MY, but an 01/02). Mechanically the car is 95%, the remaining 5% being the fact that project cars are never finished, cosmetically the car is probably around 85% (it needs a hood, but I have a CF hood to go on). I have ample spares and exhaustive receipts for it as well.

The car is valued at $15k (the market for these cars remains strong) and that would mean that I would have to shell out some cash for a trade, which I'm willing to do.

I'm being purposefully vague because I'm not a hundred percent sure on doing this yet, but wanted to see if there was any genuine interest. If so, please PM me as I only check the boards once in a while.
