Yeah i drive an 05 STi every day... that scoop wasnt near big enough to be an STi scoop... and yes the guages are that of a wrx...
I only wish they'd redo the rest of the console for the STi make the illumination match the red... cuz its that green which is great for the wrx and all...

Those cars were not going as fast as speedo said. follow the lines and the poles as they pass by then watch any 1/4 mile street race The difference would then be clear those 1/4 cars are traveling much faster than those cars were . Those cars by my calculations were doing 85 to 90 MPH. And yes I am certified by the NYPD to calculate speed !

You don't know how far apart the lights are. I couldn't see much of anything going outside of thcar because it was dark. Coupled with lack of sound it's not surprising that it seems like thay are going slower than they really are.
I don't know what the speedo says but chances are it's in kph so who knows how fast they are going. The UK Sti is supposed to have a top speed of 152.

I know this must be in Europe but look how fast the other cars are going buy as they pass buy. I may be getting old but I know when I"m doing 110MPH chasing some fool with the lights flashing the other cars seem to go buy much faster. I'm not saying that The MB would not walk that WRX but the speed is suspected.Compare to any other street race, for exp the one that has the S4 smoking the BMW going in and out of traffic. Alot of guys post all kinds of top speed videos that are all bogus

just watched the vid impreza wrx (p1 spec) ,i no the roads hes racing, m42 motorway near birmingham airport,plus birmingham city centre tunnels, blokes a nutter,how he never got caught for speeding,i`ll never no ,i`m a proud owner of a p1, prodrive 822 of 1000 , thanks bob the builder
