How do you know the "Native Americans" didn't first take America from "Europeans"? Is there a recorded history of who was actually here first? Does it even matter who was here first? No.

What matters is that we have a sovereign country now, that has borders, and rules regarding immigration. If you don't want to follow those rules and are crossing the border illegally, then you are breaking the law and have no right to be here. And you especially have no right to request (or demand) services from the government.

I have no problem with Mexicans (or any other immigrant) who comes to the U.S. legally, but people who are here illegally (and who defend those lawbreakers) get me fuming!

we have in this country historical amnesia and we apparently don't remember, much less put into context, anything that happened more than a month ago. if you knew your history, checked your facts and not just swallow the current flavor of media bias, then you might begin to get the picture.

.
I agree and disagree. Yes many Americans only worry about the most current events.

I think you may want to brush up on your history. Mexicans are not living on there native continent.
In 1519 Cortes' first landed on the soil now known as Mexico. After setting up camp and eventually getting chased away he sailed out to sea, re-grouped and landed at a site farther North than his original landing sight at which time he(sparing many details) began to lay waste to the Mayans.
Eventually the Mayans were wiped out from the Spanish Conquistadores and the diseases they brought from Europe. The Spanish people began to establish a new land for Spain and attempted to erase all remains of the Mayan people. OK, now let's skip ahead a few hundred years. The Mexicans have gained independance from Spain. What do Mexicans speak? Spanish (a variation of) the current language of Spain.
So, I suppose that the Spanish(now mexican) people are illegal immigrants and they should go back to Spain. Was it right to kill off the Mayans and take there land? No, nor was it right to kill and send the Native Americans to reservations. Early America was a savage and brutal time. But we now have established laws and borders that are more defined than in earlier years.
If you want to argue that us damn white people shouldn't be here then Mexicans shouldn't be in Mexico either. In our now more civilized world we would not allow such things to happen or we at least attempt to stop them. Laws are created for the safety and welfare of all people in it's control. Jumping the border is a law therefore illegal. Mexicans have a country, they don't need to invade the U.S. through illegal immigration. If you want to live in the U.S. then you apply for citizenship and legally come to this country. When I get out of the Navy I want to leave the U.S. forever and I will have to apply for citizenship to the country I choose. Why should illegals be allowed to come into the U.S. when I have to apply so I can get the hell out.

Here's one that will boggle your mind.

Millions of years ago the continents were one. Pangea. As Pangea slowly seperated it formed continents similar to the ones you see today. (Skip ahead millions of years)As the evolution of monkeys continued there pelvis began to change giving them the ability to walk upright for short distances.

If we fast forward a few thousand years we find a short hairy upright walking species with a pelvis very similar to the modern human. ( "Lucy" the first speciman found that could spend a majority of it's time walking upright was found in Africa) This species evolved into to branches of human like beings, Neandrathals and humans. Yes, they have found that neandrathals were not pre-homo sapien, rather there own species. Both of these species used the land bridge(a bridge of ice "some speculate that it was terra firma" connecting modern day Russia and Alaska) to cross into North America and eventually they found there way throughout north and south America. They have found that the neandrathals were starved out of existence by the more intelligient and quicker adapting homo-sapien. Human remains have been found around the world and considering that the oldest was found in Africa then it is quite possible that the origins of every human may be traced to Africa. Therefore any person that does not live in Africa is an immigrant.
