Rotarys spit out so much unburnt fuel, mines used to do the same, no cat. I parked it in my driveway once and there was a fire in the exhaust which burnt the car to the ground. It was fast though, but it was an 84 GSL-SE, not a new one.

BBQ Bumper = Not Cool...

if it shot out flames in bursts from shifts is cool. it looked like his tip was a lighter...

Edit: To each his own. If your fast and furious go for it...

Awesome ride for a project... thats the compression and the carbons inside the rotor... most of all rotary will back fire... even stock...

I'm sure he boosted it to near redline and then just let off to get flames like that. They don't just burn while cruising. If he were driving normally it'd just pop out 3 or 4' flames between shifts, or at least that was my experience with shooting fire.

That was too much fire, IMO. Some short quick flames during shifts is cool looking but that thing just looked like it was just on fire. It didn't look like he was constantly accelerating/decelerating either, some of them were just during cruising it looked like.

Yeah If he was Just Cruising like that...
Its either He has blown a Seal
Or He has a Fuel Leak...
My friend Rebuild his FD and ported it and had a fuel leak and when he turned it on It looked like that In IDLE... so that might be it...
