Flames from the Hoodscoop

Anyone thought about or tried shooting fire out from the hoodscoop of their scooby?

Since I have a MY01 RS my scoop is just for looks. I have been considering putting in some LED lights inside the scoop for fun (probably temporarily); though I thought it would be unique to have some flames come out from the scoop?

Speaking of flames, I hope you have a flame suit because any questions involving LED's or the sort tends to get one flamed.

So you want to try and shoot flames from your hoodscoop?

hmmm uhhh hmmm

paint damage
physical damage to the scoop
maybe the windshield
maybe the wipers
looks stupid

When fire comes out of your engine bay it's a bad thing. When you try to put fire in your engine bay, that's a bad thing and you're just asking for trouble. Fire isn't "neat", it can kill you or maim you if you're stupid with it. I would say that shooting flames from my hoodscoop would be a bad idea.

Also, LEDs do NOT look cool in places where they shouldn't be. In the tail lights, from the factory, there is good reason for LED technology. In your hoodscoop, or your windshield sprayers, or your valve stem caps, or any other place, LEDs are NOT cool.

If you do decide to run LEDs, check your local and state laws. If you run the wrong color, you might get tagged for impersonating a police officer.

Was it from that last dude who has not posted in a while?

Check it, this is a better idea.

Get some Nawzzz and have the purging valve right at the hood scoop. That way it will seem like your car has some fire breathing dragon in there.
Then no one will mess with you. Not even the seniors in High School. Trust me.

I've got mines to shoot fire from the driver's seat cushion if the eye-scan passcode isn't correct within 3 seconds. I've also got mine to do oil slicks. It came equiped from SOA with 2.75" rockets and a 20mm chain gun. I'm working on a little bit of rice, though. I've got the ski's on the car, but am having trouble with the pneumatic jack that lifts the car up so the ski's can come underneath the tires. Is that too much rice?
